The night before the event, we gathered for a warm, intimate dinner at Quinquela Restaurant in Casa El Globo, where the entrepreneurs behind the seven selected startups shared an exquisite meal alongside event organizers and partners.
Additionally, as part of this edition, Distrito El Globo awarded each startup a No18 Casa El Globo Membership. This will allow them to continue developing their projects from our spaces over the coming months, utilize meeting rooms, enjoy all exclusive benefits, and take part in an event lineup that bridges the gap between entrepreneurs, business leaders, and ecosystem investors.
A very special evening featuring renowned guest chefs, showcasing a 5-course menu to unveil the seasonal additions to @quinquela_uy’s menu.
Paired with an exceptional selection of wines from @bodegagarzon, it was a perfect night.
We concluded with a gift from our @fundaciongestionar, highlighting the ongoing recycling and sustainability efforts being carried out in Uruguay.

In the Stables at Casa El Globo, we shared an intimate and deeply inspiring experience with María de Zuliani, Director of @museocasapueblo, who guided us through the life, work, and legacy of Carlos Páez Vilaró through a unique narrative and never-before-seen material.
Surrounded by some of his most iconic masterpieces, art transcended mere contemplation to become an engaging conversation.

With an event gathering over 250 guests, we celebrated the official opening of Latin America’s most important business hub, together with No18 and Quinquela Restaurant.
Every floor of this remarkable building came alive with experiences and content that capture the essence of a truly unique place.

The first edition of Globo Pitch Day took place during an unforgettable afternoon in the conference room of the Rooftop at CASA EL GLOBO.
Together with Endeavor Uruguay, CIE (ORT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center), and URUCAP, we enjoyed a wonderful event surrounded by key players from Uruguay’s most prominent entrepreneurial ecosystem.

An enriching day based on the exchange of experiences and social activities, with the aim of improving communication between CTOs and the different areas of the company.
Throughout the meeting, we had the opportunity to listen to valuable lectures from prominent leaders, who shared their experiences, advice and best practices. We shared an interesting virtual talk about “Women in Art”. Thanks to Diderot Art, curator Camila Pose reviewed the life and work of some of the most important women in the history of contemporary art.

We gathered government personalities, businessmen and entrepreneurs to share and discover a sample of what is going to be the most innovative new Business, Art and Technology Center in Latin America at Ciudad Vieja, Montevideo.
CASA EL GLOBO: José del Río, Content Director of Grupo La Nación together with a panel integrated by Inés Bonicelli, Agustín Iturralde and Bruno Gili, talked about “The future of business”.
CASA SOLÍS: Exhibition “Recent Grids”, an unreleased art exhibition by the acclaimed artist Martín Pelenur.
CASA COLÓN: Tech intervention with installation of LED lights and touch screens to navigate through the District virtually. We were accompanied by Movistar, our connectivity partner.

A meeting with a panel integrated by Martín Alcalá Rubí, an entrepreneur of AI; Enzo Sandri, commercial manager of Movistar, and Marco Fernandez, director of TDT Global. We talked about the evolution of technology, AI entrepreneurship, connectivity and new ways of networking with S-District in Distrito El Globo.

With more than a hundred guests we presented the Masterplan of the project by Gómez Platero studio, the interior was designed by Conway+Partners and the technological development by TDT Global. We enjoyed an exclusive panel named: “Why investing in Ciudad Vieja” with the presence of Gabriela Pallares, Ignacio Munyo and Arturo de los Santos. As a special closing, we enjoyed the exhibition of the El Globo Collection on the second floor.

We had an exclusive meeting where we enjoyed an unprecedented exhibition of Iturria together with young talents, accompanied by the music of Jazz Tour and an exquisite Nicasia wine tasting. The event brought together cultural authorities, gallery owners, exhibitors and invited guests.

The event had the honour of presenting an exclusive talk by María Eugenia Estenssoro, who reviewed some key aspects of her book “Uruguay Laboratorio”. The Industry, Energy and Mining Minister, Omar Paganini; the scientist Gonzalo Moratorio and the engineer Nicolás Jodal, discussed the qualities of the country for the development of new businesses, technologies and productive processes. We were also delighted to have an exclusive exhibition by Carlos Páez Vilaró at Casa Solís.
